This is my favorite Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe. It makes about 2 cups of frosting, but can easily be doubled.
Cream Cheese Frosting:
1/2 cup softened unsalted butter
4 oz softened cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla extract (if you want the frosting to be whiter use clear vanilla)
2 cups powdered sugar
Cream the butter, cream cheese and vanilla together with an electric mixer until fluffy, about 3 to 5 minutes.
Add the powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
