Sugar Glue Recipe

Sugar Glue is amazing with gumpaste and fondant. It makes a secure hold and dries pretty quick. If you are making flowers or fondant/gumpaste figures then Sugar Glue is a must. It is really simple to make just takes a little time. Here is the recipe for it.
Enjoy!

Sugar Glue Recipe

1/4 tsp. CMC powder or Tylose Powder

2 T warm water

Stir ingredients in a small container. Add a lid. It doesn’t look so great at this point. CMC powder will probably be a little lumpy and not dissolved. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight, and you are left with a nice, clear, smooth glue. Keeps in the refrigerator for about a week.

****It should be a syrupy consistency. If it is too thick, stir in a little bit of water at a time until it looks right
