Silver White Cake Recipe
Here is the recipe for my Silver White Cake. This is the cake that I use to make my Coconut Creme Cake Pops and a few others.
Ingredients:
2 cups of flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 1/2 tsp bake powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup crisco
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
4 egg whites
Heat oven to 350* and grease and flour a 9x13 or two 9 inch round pans. Beat flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, crisco, milk, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl on low speed, scraping bowl constantly for 30 seconds. Be on high speed, scraping bowl occasionally for 2 minutes. Add egg whites; beat on high speed, scraping bowl occasionally for 2 minutes. Pour into pans. Bake until wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean, 35-40 for hte 9x13 or 30-35 minutes for hte 9 inch round. Let cool 10 minutes in the pan and turn out onto a cooling rack and cool completely before making your cake pops.
