Gumpaste Peony

What do you do with your spare time? When you don't have anything you have to do and your spouse is camping with the scouts? For me that is an easy question! Anything that has to do with cake, cookies, or anything delicious. By the time I was done putting the kids to bed, picking up after them, and chatted with my husband (who must be crazy to want to go camping in the snow, but I guess that is a man thing) it was 9:30 so instead of making a cake that I had been thinking about I made a gumpaste Peony. Here are some pictures of the flower I made.
