Flavor Friday- Smore Cake Pop/Cake Ball
Cake Ball

As you probably noticed in the Coconut Cream Cake Pop tutorial I also made some Smore Cake Pops and Balls that night as well. For Flavor Friday I thought I would share the recipe on how to make the Smore Cake Pops/Balls.
Here is what you will need:
*1/2 of a 9x13 chocolate cake baked and cooled (or one 9inch round or one 8 inch round cake).
*1/2 cup (have extra on hand if needed) marshmallow creme or melted marshmallows.
*1 cup coarsely ground graham crackers
*coating chocolate (light or regular chocolate flavor)
*1/2 cup finely ground graham crackers
Crumble the cake into a bowl and mix in the graham crackers and melted marshmallows (or marshmallow creme) until combined. Roll into tablespoon size balls (about 1 1/2 inches diameter) on a parchment covered cookie sheet. Melt your coating chocolate, stirring frequently, until thin being careful to not overheat your chocolate. If making Cake Pops then dip your lollipop sticks in the chocolate and insert them in the cake ball and allow to set for a minute or two. Then Dip your cake pops/balls into the coating chocolate and tap off excess chocolate. Let dry in Styrofoam if making cake pops or on parchment if making cake balls or cake pops that will be served in wrappers. Sprinkle the tops with the finely ground graham crackers (or dip them if you are making cake pops, before placing in the Styrofoam). Allow to set up before serving.
Enjoy!
If you looked at the inside view of my smore pop I made mine with the silver white cake recipe instead of chocolate and it tasted great as well. But, if you want the truest smore flavor then stick with the chocolate cake.
