A close up of the Snowmen/Snowgirls
Unfortunately, the pictures don't show that the cake was dusted with a Super Pearl shine with some rainbow pixie dust on top to make it really sparkle. The cake was an 8inch Barely Chocolate cake with Cookies and Cream frosting.
How did you get the toques to look knitted?
ReplyDeleteYou could do it with gumpaste tools or toothpick if you have lots of patience and you would need to do it quick before the fondant dries out too much, but I had a silicone mold by Karen Davies that does the hat and blank face and you paint the face and add the nose and color the hats.
